Progressive Trance

Tony Buehlmann and Heinz Lertscher build the soundproject SOLANO
from Switzerland. After they met each other on a party, their common
interest in music have brought them together.

Tony used to play in a band and had already experiences in composing.
Heinz made his first steps in producing electronic music in the 90s. In 1999 they joined each other and produced tracks like “Fusspilz” and “Schweissfuss”, pressed on vinyl and distributed successfully in dj-shops
by their own. Next to their production work both spin records in several
major clubs around Switzerland (resident DJ Spider Galaxy, Club-Q,
Rohstofflager, Chill Up, etc.) Tony is well known as DJ Tony Voyeur and
has also an excellent reputation as a club-manager and party organizer.

Their personal, different music styles and influences have become a
coloured mixture and that gives their sound its special character. In 2004
the first track on the compilation “Zürich is calling” has been released on
Tribal Tribe / Sony. Some other tracks followed on Dance ‘n Dust Records
and Vertikal Records. On their debut album "Blackout", released by Iono
Music, they show their musical inventiveness and technical knowledge.

Next to this fresh and mature album work, they perform their typical Solano sound life on stages around Europe.

Their second album "Under the white flag" including
9 powerful dance tracks has been released in Summer 2008.
